Titans News: Bye Week

It’s finally here. The bye week. Maybe no team in NFL history needs a bye as much as the Titans. Injury riddled and in need of a breather. Sunday’s game was the same story as last week. Offense moves the ball with relative ease, only to be undone by horrible turnovers by Hilliard, Foreman, and later Blasingame and inept play calling at the goal line.

Nine turnovers in the past two games and two losses. The week off should help them get a little healthier, and it should also allow them to mentally reset.

Despite the back to back losses, the Titans still have the best chance of making the playoffs in the AFC at 99%. If they get healthy and can go on a 4-1 run post-bye, the Titans could get the 1 seed.

While the team didn’t do enough to win the game, there were encouraging signs from the offense that rushed for over 200 yards. Just like last week, the turnovers inevitably doomed the Titans. In order to win going forward, they need to clean things up.
