The Titans were staring a 1-4 stretch right in the eye. Then, they turned into the Titans we’ve grown accustomed to watching since Ryan Tannehill took over and turned the game on its head. King Henry finished in style and the rest was history.
It was a collective effort for the Titans to comeback on Sunday. Derrick Henry was at his best in the second half, as was Ryan Tannehill, A.J. Brown, Corey Davis and the entire defense.
Unfortunately the Titans suffered another big injury loss. Jayon Brown is expected to miss the rest of the season with an elbow injury.
The way the Titans are constructed, there are a lot of players that opposing defenses want no part of tackling. Derrick Henry, Jonnu Smith, Corey Davis and A.J. Brown are all yards after the catch monsters.
John Harbaugh and Mike Vrabel exchanged words before and after the game. Harbaugh and the Ravens took exception to the Titans’ pregame festivities concluding on the midfield logo. Boo hoo.
After the game, Lamar Jackson said that the Titans wanted the game more than the Ravens. It sure appeared that way after halftime.
A consequence of the win, is that the Titans will have another chance on Sunday to take sole possession of the AFC South with a rematch against the Colts. The Titans had good playoff luck as well, with the Dolphins and Raiders losing on Sunday.
