Titans News: Cutdown Day

Yesterday was a busy day for the Titans. They cut three players and signed another to an extension. Rodger Saffold, Kendall Lamm, and Darrynton Evans were all cut. Lamm and Saffold because of their salary caps and Evans because he’s constantly injured. Saffold was very good for the Titans during his time here, and I’m sad to see him go. That being said, they need to improve along the offensive line and cutting Saffold was one of the easier ways to do that. LG, C, and RT are all glaring holes at this point.

Morgan Cox did a good job for the Titans in 2021 and he’s back for 2022, signing a one-year extension on Thursday.

After putting the pen to paper, Landry had a press conference to discuss his new deal.

The AFC continues to stockpile talent as Khalil Mack was traded from the Bears to the Chargers.

I said earlier that RT is a need for the Titans. La’el Collins is apparently available and would fit that spot perfectly.
