Titans News: Definition of insanity

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same result. That’s what the Titans are doing on the defensive side of the ball. On Friday, in an absolute news dump of a post, the Titans announced that Shane Bowen would be the defensive coordinator for the Titans in 2021.

Bowen held the job last year, without the title, and the defense was historically bad. SuperHorn is still undergoing therapy sessions from having to review the defense week after week. To say that this is an uninspiring hire is an understatement. Now it’s on Jon Robinson to improve the players the coaching staff will be working with. Otherwise, the Super Bowl window the Titans had will be shut very soon.

While the Bowen hire was rage inducing, Todd Downing was a solid if unspectacular hire. Downing has been in the system, with the Titans. He knows the terminology and I’m excited to see some continuity on offense.

In the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, James throws some shade at Vic Beasley.

Native Nashvillian, Jacoby Stevens, is in the 2021 draft class. While I don’t think he’ll be a high round pick like he might have been a year ago, he’ll be a solid player in the league.

Titan legend, Steve McNair, ranks #32 in the NFL.com All-time Super Bowl QB rankings.
