Titans News: Drawing attention

Before the links, happy Veteran’s Day to all those who have served. I very much appreciate what you have given to this country.

Frank Reich has noticed the stellar play of A.J. Brown, saying the second year wide receiver is playing “lights-out”. It’s hard not to notice Brown making a huge play seemingly every single week.

Despite quite a few absentees from yesterday’s practice, Jadeveon Clowney and Roger Saffold both practiced, which is extremely encouraging. Hopefully they will be ready to go on Thursday night.

In the Tuesday edition of the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, James talks a bit about load management for Derrick Henry. It was smart for Vrabel to limit Derrick’s touches in a game where the Titans did not need to risk injury.

The Titans signed three players to the practice squad. One of them is former Raider and Falcon, Giorgio Tavecchio.

Should games be cancelled due to COVID-19, the NFL owners have approved an expanded playoff field. Instead of seven teams, there would now be eight playoff teams per conference.

NFL.com has selected their mid-season award winners. The Titans do not have a selection in the article, but I think Vrabel should be in the conversation for Coach of the Year.
