Titans News: Fall from grace

The Titans lost to the Texans on Sunday, as you may know. That dropped the Titans in the power rankings and deservedly so. They drop to 3rd in the ESPN Power Rankings and 8th in the NFL.com Power Rankings (which is wild considering they dropped below the Bills).

A baker’s dozen of roster moves saw the Titans waive Adrian Peterson, put Marcus Johnson on IR (ending his season), and adding players like Buster Skrine and Dontrell Hilliard to the active roster. Golden Tate was also signed to the practice squad. It’ll be interesting to see if he factors into the very depleted WR group.

David Carr says that the offense in Cleveland can still be fixed. While I agree that getting both of their stud running backs healthy will be a positive for them, having Baker Mayfield as your starting QB is not a recipe for success.
