Titans News: False rhetoric

With some fans and media, there seems to be a stigma about Ryan Tannehill that the Titans could do better without him or that he’s holding the team back. I don’t know what to tell those people, as evidenced by Sunday’s game, where he played an extremely good game, despite the one interception, with very few weapons in the receiver group.

Rashad Weaver and Derrick Roberson were added to injured reserve on Tuesday. Hopefully they can come back from injury quickly. Old friend, Sharif Finch was added back to the 53-man roster.

NFL.com puts the Titans at 16th overall in their power rankings. They correctly note that Derrick Henry and Tannehill are the heart and soul of this team.

Henry is slowing making his way up the offensive player power rankings.

The deep passes aren’t quite there for the Titans, but they’ll get there soon, especially when the receivers are healthy.
