In the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, there are a ton of questions about Ryan Tannehill and A.J. Brown. Nothing new on either, but it’s a popular topic in the mailbag. What is interesting is that Wyatt says he thinks another veteran WR gets added to the group. Jim has said that before, but if you pair a similar sentiment that Mike Keith relayed on the radio this week, it sure seems like some smoke. In my opinion, you have to add another guy, WR3 type to the team.
Going into 2022, relying on 2 rookies and a guy coming off an ACL injury to be your top 3 is asking a lot. My preference seems counter intuitive to that, but I’d go sign Odell. The WR group by midseason would be disgusting with Burks, Woods, OBJ, Phillips, and NWI. Plus Odell gives you the flexibility to play inside or outside. If not Odell, Fuller makes a lot of sense even though he’s injury prone, as does a Kenny Stills signing.
The numbers for the 2022 season have been selected. Rookies, free agents, and some current players all go new digits. Hopefully they start making some baby blue jerseys soon so I can get an A.J. Brown jersey replacement.
