Titans News: Ficken awesome

Sam Ficken took care of business on Saturday night. He went 2/2 including a 58 yarder that was absolutely smoked. Tucker McCann looked solid prior to injury, but Ficken has taken advantage of the opportunity.

There was really nowhere to go but up for Dez Fitzpatrick, and on Saturday he made a little noise. A TD catch was the highlight of his night and if anyone needed it, he did. I was extremely surprised that Racey McMath had 0 snaps on offense, despite playing special teams.

In some sad news, Floyd Reese, former GM of the Titans, passed away at the age of 73 this weekend. Reese was the GM from 1994-2006, and saw the team draft quite a few great players and make a Super Bowl run. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

On Sunday, the news broke that Mike Vrabel has tested positive for COVID-19. In his absence, the Titans will look to Craig Aukerman to lead the team.

The fourth Titan player has made the NFL top 100 list. This time, it’s newly acquired Julio Jones. It is absolutely wild to think that the Titans have two unbelievable receivers after years and years of having absolutely nothing at the position.
