Titans News: Groundhog Day

Wake up. Hit the alarm. Commence morning routine. Turn on the Titans game. Watch the defense get absolutely shredded. This has been the norm for the Titans fans this season. I keep saying it needs to get fixed, but there’s no indication it will be. It cost them again on Sunday when they were only able to stop the Bengals from scoring on two drives.

Every single phase of the game yesterday was terrible. Offense, defense, and special teams contributed to the loss, even if the offense was the least offensive part of the game.

NFL.com says the Titans needed to get A.J. Brown involved more in the game. I agree, as he’s one of the best players on the team, but when you’re running for 7.5 yards per carry, you’re doing pretty good.

It’s trade deadline week, will the Titans make any moves? It’s doubtful if history is any indication, but we can hope there is a move to help the defense.

Turron Davenport writes that the Titans did not show much life on Sunday. That’s a problem in what should have been a bounce back performance. Now the Titans have five games coming up against teams with winning records.

Adam Humphries went out yesterday with a concussion. He was down for a very long time, so it was good to see him up and walking.
