Titans News: He gone

Our long, local nightmare is over. Isaiah Wilson has been traded to the Miami Dolphins for a 7th round pick this year. Wilson and a 2022 7th rounder will go to Miami. It’s not great that the Titans are having to move on from their 1st rounder in 2020 less than a year after drafting him. That being said, it’s kind of incredible that they got anything for him.

Mel Kiper says the Titans have a lot of flexibility at pick 22. They could stick and pick or trade back. 22 isn’t so far back in the draft that I would rule out a trade up if they thought a real game changer was available.

In NFL.com’s list of potentially overpriced free agents, there is a Corey Davis signing. If Davis costs a ton of money, I’m not overly interested in bringing him back. He’s a very good piece, but he’s not worth WR1 money.

Dak Prescott signed an extension with the Dallas Cowboys last night. I’m happy for Dak as he’s played really well and done a great job of letting the process play out. The deal also makes Ryan Tannehill’s current contract look even better. What a steal that was.
