Titans News: Here we go

The Titans will start the season tonight against the Denver Broncos. Ryan Tannehill’s last game against Denver was a loss, but it was the start of something terrific for the Titans.

Adoree Jackson is officially out against the Broncos, which is obviously not good news, but thus far he has avoided the three game IR.

In the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, a fan asks why the captain “C’s” will not be on the players’ jerseys. Mike Vrabel had a good answer.

What are the best bets for the Monday Night Football doubleheader? ESPN+ has you covered.

Isaiah Wilson was arrested on Friday night for DUI. Wilson’s tenure with the Titans so far has been rocky, but I am hoping he can get some help, work out some of the issues he’s been having and become a force on the field.

What did we learn from the Sunday games? Tom Brady might be completely washed up, Mitchell Trubisky and Josh Allen both still struggle to do fundamental QB things, the Colts are frauds, and Ron Rivera is the early leader for COY.

  1. As much fun as it is to call the Colts “frauds” I’m not that confident it’s true just yet. New player at the most important position (plus a rookie RB and WR) without a true offseason, and they went for 363 through the air even with the picks to kill a couple drives. Seems like if they clean it up a bit, they have more offensive upside than they did last year. I find myself more impressed with Jacksonville than ready to laugh at the Colts and ridicule Phillip Rivers.

  2. Hey Justin… is there gonna be some kind of open thread like what we used to have over on MCM for the game tonight? I’m not sure if your site has the comment system to handle that kind of traffic or not. (And frankly I don’t think Coral is up to it either.) Would be kinda cool if all the Titans faithful can have a place to hang out virtually for the game, and it would be a great draw for the site. Thanks!
