Titans News: Home improvement

A big topic this past week has been the Titans’ stadium situation. Renovations have been discussed, but with the growing cost of those renovations as well as limited ability to do further add-ons, the discussion has shifted to potentially building a new stadium entirely. A new stadium almost certainly means a Super Bowl in Nashville. It also means a Final Four and other national events to come into Nashville. Jim Wyatt says that the stadium would be built in the parking lots next to Nissan, so they wouldn’t be moving very far. I for one am very interested on this development and will be paying close attention to this story.

Former University of Tennessee WR, Josh Malone, signed a futures contract with the Titans.

In Daniel Jeremiah’s newest mock draft, he has the Titans taking Tyler Linderbaum, a center from Iowa. I am not on board with drafting an interior OL that early, as the positional value isn’t there. Even if Linderbaum is good, the best player for the Titans was mocked one pick after their selection.
