Titans News: In full swing

Jamarco Jones has officially been signed by the Titans. What a ride it’s been to get to this moment. A moment where the Titans have signed a crappy swing tackle two years in a row on the first day of free agency. Hopefully this tradition doesn’t continue.

Thus far the Titans have been quiet this free agency period, coming to terms with three FA’s, none of which project to be starters. I can see how that might be a little concerning to some, but for right now I’m going to preach patience. There are plenty of difference makers available at spots the Titans need help, namely WR and TE. I don’t think Jim Wyatt would have spent the offseason thus far repeatedly saying that the Titans will add more weapons or Jon Robinson reduced to tears when thinking about what he could have done better to only have the Titans run it back with Geoff Swaim at TE1 and NWI as WR2. Patience.

The Titans are trying to win (contrary to the belief of some fans) and believe it or not, most of the AFC had some catching up to do to get to the Titans level. It remains to be seen if they’ve accomplished that, but Tennessee still has a lot of moves left in it.

Baker Mayfield has requested a trade out of Cleveland and the Browns, despite sniffing around other QBs, have rejected it. No word on if that rejection was respectful or not.
