Titans News: In the limelight

The Titans’ 2021 schedule has been released and it contains not one, not two, but three primetime games. That’s a nice chunk of the season on the national stage.

Cynthia Frelund believes that the Titans will be the 7th seed in the playoffs per her Game Theory model. I would be surprised if the Titans lose the division to the Colts at this point, but time will tell.

NFL.com has a list of the best primetime games in 2021, and the Titans don’t show up on it. However, I think all three primetime games are compelling matchups and should provide a barometer of where the Titans stack up against the NFL’s best.

On the 2021 slate are a lot of games against players that used to play for Tennessee, including Malcolm Butler, Corey Davis, Jonnu Smith, and Desmond King. It would be wonderful if the Titans could sweep those games, considering two of them will be against the divisional rival Texans.
