Titans News: Keep the ball rolling

The Titans lost Arthur Smith this offseason. This we know. What we don’t know is who will replace him. That question will continue to be asked until the Titans name a new offensive coordinator. We’ve heard some outside names, Tony Elliott, Tim Kelly, and Pep Hamilton, but other than that, it’s been crickets.

Derrick Henry believes that the offense can continue to dominate without Arthur at the helm. I agree with him, the talent is there. The Titans just need to continue to evolve.

On Thursday, Henry surprised some healthcare workers with a phone call to thank them for their work in the community. The Titans do a tremendous job with their outreach programs. It’s fun to see them continue it, even in the midst of a pandemic.

MTSU’s Robert Jones is trying to make an impression on teams at the Senior Bowl. The young man from Chicago grew up wanting to be a basketball star, but found his passion as a football player.

In the best news of the week, Deshaun Watson has put in a trade request. Hopefully they are able to deal him to the NFC, where the Titans only have to play him once every four years. I’m not sure how the Texans have prioritized Jack Easterby over Watson, but here we are.
