Titans News: Kicking themselves

We all remember what a debacle the kicking situation was for the Titans last year, and folks, they’re at it again. Mike Vrabel was asked about his options at kicker he said “we’ll work those guys and see how it goes”. I could be overreacting, but I don’t get the warm and fuzzies from that quote. He also brought up Stephen Gostkowski as an option, barring retirement.

Safeties have to be better in 2021, specifically Kevin Byard. Additionally, Amani Hooker will need to step into a starting role with the departure of Kenny Vaccaro.

Could the Titans get even better in the secondary next year? Unlikely, but Xavien Howard, one of the best corners in the NFL has requested a trade out of Miami due to a contract dispute. I would love Howard, but I’m not sure how they make it work given the guys they’ve added.
