Titans News: Land of misfit receivers

The Titans’ WR group is a one-man wrecking crew at this point. A.J. Brown is the lone, bonafide stud, and then you have a ton of WR3 and lower-end talents. Jim Wyatt takes us on a tour of the group, which gets very bleak, very quickly.

Brett Favre, who knows a thing or two about leaving the Packers for another team, says that Aaron Rodgers will not return. I detailed yesterday why a Rodgers/Titans marriage would not work. Simultaneously, I hope he does not go anywhere in the AFC. In fact, I’d rather he went to go host Jeopardy as his new day job.

Last Thursday, the Raiders selected Alex Leatherwood at 17th overall. The pick was considered a significant reach at the time, but that’s been a common theme with Raiders’ drafts since the beginning of time. Getting rid of Gruden and Mayock will be a good move for that franchise, but due to his contract, they’ll be stuck with Gruden for a while.
