Titans News: Last puzzle piece

Not a lot of news for you all on this Tuesday morning, but that might not be true for long. Today is June 1st, which means Julio Jones could be traded at any time to relive the Falcons’ cap situation. Pairing A.J. Brown and Julio Jones would give the Titans one of the best set of pass catchers in the NFL, and would make Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill’s jobs easier as well.

David Boclair says that the public courting done by A.J. reveals an important truth about Julio. That is that the Titans NEED Julio. This is a trade that the Titans almost have to pull off due to the way they’ve navigated the offseason so far. To this point, the front office has ignored the skill players they lost on offense during the offseason, only adding Josh Reynolds during free agency and Dez Fitpatrick being the only notable WR draft pick. Tight end is still a huge issue in my opinion, but adding a talent like Jones would alleviate that need.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend. Let us know what you all think would be a realistic deal for Julio that the Titans could make in the comments.
