In order to free up some cap space, the Titans have released Malcolm Butler. The move makes a lot of sense financially, but it still stings a bit. Butler was arguably the best player on last year’s horrific defense and now the starting cornerbacks are Adoree Jackson and Kristian Fulton. Adoree was awful last year and Fulton wasn’t available. Needless to say there is work to be done.
Who fits with the Titans in the draft? Daniel Jeremiah says that both Rashod Bateman and Terrace Marshall Jr. would be nice picks in the 2nd round. I’m not sure either of those guys make it to the Titans’ second round pick, but I’m all for it. They are studs.
One of the players not tagged yesterday was Shaq Barrett of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he’s available come next week, I’d love for the Titans to throw as much money as they can at him.
Nissan Stadium will host Metro Nashville’s largest one-day COVID vaccination effort on March 20th.
The Titans added three front office personnel this week. Love seeing the addition of people from various backgrounds to the staff.
In the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, James bets his most beloved possessions on the Titans adding some pass rushers.
Marcus Johnson was added to the roster yesterday. He played for the Colts, so I’m sure he can spill all their secrets to the Titans.
