Titans News: Minor additions

On Thursday, the Titans added two coaches on the offensive side of the ball. Erik Frasier joins the staff as an offensive skill assistant and Jason Houghtaling is the new assistant to the regional manager offensive line assistant to the coaching staff. It is humorous to me that the offensive staff continues to add coaches while the defensive coaching staff is stagnant.

NFL.com did an article on one free agent each team needs to keep. They say Corey Davis, although I would argue that it’s Jonnu Smith that is harder to replace for the Titans.

It is very likely that the Titans will need to get a WR3 for the 2021 season. The Raiders are planning on releasing Tyrell Williams and I think he’d be a great fit for that spot. Sign Williams and a higher end WR if Davis leaves. Then in the draft, pick up one of these really talented receivers. Profit. It’s that easy.

There’s a bit of unrest in Seattle. You could even say they are sleepless… Russell Wilson has stirred the pot a little bit, and it sounds like there’s a non-zero chance that he gets moved this offseason. Something to keep an eye on.

Shaq Barrett wants to be paid, and I think the Titans should be the ones to do it. He’s been incredible for the Bucs the past two years and he’d give the Titans a great EDGE.

In the 2020 season QB rankings, Ryan Tannehill comes in at #8. I think that’s a bit low, especially since he’s behind Lamar Jackson.
