Titans News: More to come

In this weekend’s Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience, I was surprised how candid Jim was regarding the TE position. He says that the players they have are nice players, but they need more at the position. I agree, as I think they need a more complete TE at the top of the depth chart. O.J. Howard and David Njoku are two players I would definitely have interest in, as well as Cameron Brate if he was available. Hopefully the Titans can make a play for one of those guys and also a WR2.

Ola Adeniyi says his mom is his hero. I hope all of the moms out there were able to have an excellent Mother’s Day. They certainly deserve it.

We all know that D.K. Metcalf is very fast. Is he track fast? Not quite, although it is not like he was blown out in the race. I’d love to see Caleb Farley in a track meet. The man can fly.

How does the Titans’ offseason rank throughout the NFL? I would say probably middle of the pack. They spent a lot of resources on the defense, and a negligent amount on offense. Say they trade for a WR and TE? Now they belong in the top 5 conversation.

  1. In my humble opinion, OJ Howard is not a good tight end. I think people get caught up with his draft position and his athleticism. He’s turned out to be a below-average blocker and he constantly has drops.
