Titans News: Nashville Area Football Team, Tennessee Titans, win a tough game in Denver. Some teams still know how winning is done.

It was not pretty. My blood pressure was far too high for what should have been a 10 point game. However, today we spell redemption, “G-O-S-T-K-O-W-S-K-I”. The Titan kicker had one of the roughest games I’ve ever seen from a kicker, but he came through when it mattered most.

The Titans needed to come out of Denver with a win, and that’s exactly what happened. Going into Week 2 with the ability to take sole possession of 1st place is a good spot to be in. Corey Davis looked great, Henry got 100 yards, Jonnu looked explosive. Plenty of positives.

Monday Night Football was a game to forget with a result that will be important down the road. The Broncos were really banged up, but so were the Titans, making this a pretty fair fight. In the end, the team with more experience came out on top, and I think if they played this game 16 weeks from now, the Titans would be a lot more prepared.

Adoree Jackson was placed on the new short term IR, and will be eligible to come back after Week 3. He needs to be back soon, or else the rookie CBs for the Titans are going to continually be tried by fire.
