Titans News: Never Tell Him the Odds

Who exceeded rushing expectations in 2019? You are all familiar with the number one player on the list, Derrick Henry. El Tractorcito had +1.05 rushing yards over expectation per attempt last year, which came out to 314 rushing yards over expectation for the entire season. It goes to show just how valuable the Titans’ monstrous running back was last year, even if the talking heads will tell you that the position he plays is fungible.

When it comes to who will win NFL MVP this coming season, we probably have a pretty good idea. That did not stop Bill Barnwell from going through 260 players that could win it.

Training camp begins this week for the Titans. On Thursday, QBs, rookies, and players that were injured last year will report. The remaining veterans will report next week.

The WR group for the Titans is the best they have had, maybe ever. A.J. Brown is a bonafide stud, Corey Davis is solid, and Adam Humphries is a dependable third option. Additionally, friend of the site, Kalif Raymond, is an absolute burner, and can take the top off of a defense. I cannot wait to see what this coming season has in store for this group.

  1. Over a year later and I’m still baffled that we have AJ on this team. We have 2 absolute steals drafted from the 2nd round. In JRob we trust!
