On Tuesday, the Titans granted Josh Reynolds his release. He had been a healthy scratch for multiple games this year and never found a fit with the team. He was brought in and had an opportunity to be the WR2 in the offense prior to the Julio trade. Post-Julio trade, it all seemed to go downhill for Reynolds. He looked slow in training camp, due in part to an achilles injury. Then he got passed up by Marcus Johnson, Chester Rogers, and NWI. I never bought into Josh as an impact WR, but I thought he would do a better job than he did for Tennessee. This offseason, the Titans will once again be looking for an impact WR.
Power Rankings do not matter, but it looks like the Titans are getting their due. They rank 3rd in NFL.com’s Power Rankings, and 2nd in the ESPN iteration.
Aaron Rodgers broke COVID protocol and was fined a whopping $14k. Chump change.
Odell Beckham Jr. is now officially a free agent. I mentioned yesterday that the Titans should be in on him. Nothing has changed to make me think differently. I think the only team in the NFL that is an obvious better situation is Green Bay, where he can thrive opposite Davante Adams. Every other team has question marks in terms of how much he’ll get the ball. Bring Odell home.
