Titans News: Pay Corey Davis

It’s time we have a discussion. Or rather that we don’t. The Titans should re-sign Corey Davis, and given the depth in the free agent market, he should not be insanely expensive. There are plenty of options available in free agency, but why mess with what is working? Pay the man and prosper.

The Titans’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee this year is Kevin Byard. His contributions to the community are numerous and is a worthy candidate. Hopefully he is able to win and bring the quarter of a million dollar donation to a charity of his choice.

Some good news from practice yesterday, Adoree Jackson practiced again, albeit in limited capacity. I do not expect him to come back this week, but next week could be a real possibility.

Chris Jackson has been activated from the COVID list. Getting Jackson back will be nice for the cornerback group, which could go from one of the shallowest groups in the league to the deepest in a few weeks.

Which defenses are the best in the league? Not surprisingly, the Titans don’t make the cut.

NFL.com picks the Titans against the Jags, which makes me uneasy going into Sunday’s game.

Ryan Tannehill sits at #5 overall in the the QB Index. I think that is a pretty fair ranking of him. The regression we were warned of has not happened thus far, and I hope it never does.
