The two premier tight ends in the NFL both got paid big time yesterday. George Kittle signed a deal to make him the higest paid TE in the league. Just a few hours later, Travis Kelce signed a four year deal at a slightly lower rate. It will be interesting to monitor the Jonnu Smith contract situation going forward as the top of the TE market is tied up for the foreseeable future.
Jim Wyatt previews a very good safety group for the Titans in 2020.
Whereas we know the safety group for the Titans will likely be very good this year, the cornerback group is a little bit more of an unknown. Malcolm Butler and Adoree Jackson should both continue their strong play from a year ago. After the top two, it becomes more of a projection with rookie Kristian Fulton potentially taking on the starting slot role.
After cutting Reggie Gilbert a few days ago, the Titans added Wyatt Ray to the roster. He used to play with Harold Landry at Boston College and a fun fact about him is that he is a grandson to Nat King Cole.
Big Jeffery Simmons was already a fearsome prospect for opposing offensive lines to deal with. This offseason he has worked on cutting fat and becoming leaner and meaner. Look out.
