Titans News: Playing down to your opponent

Yikes. This team has a habit of letting bad teams hang around and that’s what happened Sunday. What should have been at least a 3 score lead was a minuscule 9 point lead after three scoring drives in the first half. That lead was cut to just 2 before half. After the half, Tennessee forgot how to play defense and started getting gashed. The rest is history. Almost no one played well, and this team is now 2-2.

Ryan Tannehill was sacked seven times on Sunday, something that will absolutely need to be cleaned up or else Logan Woodside is going to be quarterbacking.

After being historically efficient on touchdowns in the redzone, the Titans have not been as effective this year. A new play caller, poor offensive line play, ineffective players are all culprits. It’s up to the Titans to figure it out.

Every single week the Titans get gashed by a big play. Most of the time, it’s multiple blown assignments. How does this coaching staff not clean these things up? I’d be shocked if we see staffing changes, but we’ve already seen massive player change, and the same issues keep popping up.
