Titans News: Pleasant surprise

Ola Adeniyi has been great for the Titans so far. Signed as a special teams player, he leads Tennessee in sacks through three weeks. They’ll need him to continue to thrive as Bud Dupree gets healthy and Rashad Weaver recovers from his recently broken leg.

There had been some speculation that Julio was pulled from the game on Sunday due to lack of effort blocking. Mike Vrabel cleared that up on Monday in his press conference. He stated that Julio was pulled for precautionary reasons and that he was pleased with his effort.

NFL.com says that the Titans have already won the division. We won’t count it til it’s official, but it sure seems that way given the level of play from the other divisional opponents.

Per Adam Schefter, A.J. Brown is week-to-week with a hamstring injury. I’m sure they’ll take their time getting him back and make sure he’s 100%. They shouldn’t need him for the next two games to win. They’ll need him for the stretch after that.
