Titans News: Pre-pre-season

It’s about that time, ladies and gentlemen. Training camp is a little more than a week away, which means pre-season is just around the corner. That, of course, means that real football is just a few short months away. We’ve had so much speculation ahead of the season, there is truly nothing better than getting the team out there and seeing some results.

Bucky Brooks takes a look at the increased value of the right tackle position. If you take a look at the Titans and the resources allocated to the RT position, you’ll know that’s true. Now Tennessee just needs to figure out how to get a guy to stick.

The Titans’ 2nd round pick in 2020, Kristian Fulton, is making the most of his time in Nashville, off the field. He and his brother have opened a store in Nashville where you can buy shoes, clothing, and art.

The Titans have added a strength and conditioning intern for training camp. Christion Abercrombie, formerly of TSU, will join the staff. Christion has a great story and has overcome tremendous odds to be where he’s at today.

Jim Wyatt previews the quarterback battle in this coming offseason. I’d expect Ryan Tannehill to win the starting job, if we are being candid. Of course it gets more interesting in the battle of the backups.
