Derrick Henry is amazing. On Sunday he rushed for over 200 yards, against the Texans. Yes, the Texans run defense is terrible, but when you throw the ball a total of 10 times in a game, and still can’t be stopped on the ground, you’re doing something right. Henry is now the franchise leader in rushing TDs, which is incredible given the storied running backs the Titans have had.
The game was dominated by the rushing attack and the Titans defense. Malik Willis made his first start and unfortunately he was pretty bad. The hope is that Ryan Tannehill can come back next week against the Chiefs and Malik can spend the rest of the year learning behind Tannehill. The Titans should have a pretty good idea by the end of this year if they think he’s progressed enough to be considered the guy in waiting or if they need to try their hand again at finding a franchise signal caller. For now, a win is a win and the Titans move to 2 games above the Colts in the AFC South.
I have no idea how the Texans won a game this year in the National Football League. That was one of my main takeaways and it’s one of the takeaways from NFL.com.
Have a safe Halloween, everyone!
