Titans News: Schadenfreude

The NFL kicked off last night with a real stinker between the Chiefs and the Texans. After getting out to a 7-0 lead, the Texans reverted to what I imagined they would look like this year. Bad. It was always good news for the Titans that DeAndre Hopkins was traded out of the division, but Thursday night made it clear that the Texans can be handled.

Ryan Tannehill lands on the 10 spot in the NFL.com QB Index. That is probably the most fair ranking of Tannehill that I’ve seen this offseason.

For the first time as a Titan, Jadeveon Clowney was made available to the media. He was asked all sorts of questions, but the bottom line is that he is ready to make a lot of plays for the Titans.

There are big expectations on A.J. Brown going into his sophomore season. Michael Irvin expects Brown to surpass those expectations.

During his media availability, Clowney made it clear that Mike Vrabel was a huge reason for signing with the Titans.

Derrick Henry is a captain this year, and he plans on making the most of it, by leading on and off the field.
