The first wave of free agent has come and gone. The top players are all off the market, but the second tier is still loaded with quality players. The Titans have a few main areas of need still, at ILB, CB, WR, RT, and DL. DaQuan Jones coming back would end the need for more DL help. Mitchell Schwartz would be an upgrade over what the Titans had last year at the position, Brian Poole would do the same for the slot cornerback position.
In the latest Chad Reuter mock draft, he has the Titans selecting Rashod Bateman of Minnesota. I am 100% behind that pick and am hoping he’s available for them to select. He fits a lot of what the Titans look for in a WR, including outstanding YAC ability.
Speaking of offensive players, Tennessee is excited for the first year under Todd Downing at offensive coordinator.
A fan in the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience asks if the Titans are planning on gravel calling defensive plays for the team. Not quite sure who gravel is, and neither is Jim.
