Titans News: Selling a lemon

Gil Brandt has a list on NFL.com of the most versatile players in the league. It’s an ok list, however he makes a pretty egregious error. He has Taysom Hill on the list, and while Taysom plays a lot of positions, he’s good at none of them. It’s like saying a moped is an amphibious vehicle. Sure it can go in the water, but it isn’t effective.

After an ok rookie year, Larrell Murchison is focused on a big step forward in year two. He’s going to have an opportunity to take over Jack Crawford’s snaps from a year ago, so a big jump in snaps if he’s effective.

Anthony Firkser has been behind a couple of really solid TE’s on the depth chart for the Titans in Delanie Walker and Jonnu Smith. Neither of them are on the team, so it’s his time to shine. He’s proven to be a reliable pass catcher, but can he take the next step and be a well-rounded player?
