Titans News: Sharper EDGEs

2020 was a very bad year for the Titans’ OLBs. They revamped the unit by adding Dupree and Weaver through the draft and free agency. They also added John Simon on Sunday. There is no way the unit could be worse, which gives this year’s group a lot of room for improvement.

Caleb Farley and Bud Dupree will start the year on the NFI and PUP lists, respectively. Those two players will need to be big time contributors in 2021 if the Titans want to be Super Bowl contenders. Get well soon.

Another part of the struggling defense last year was the inside linebackers. The group is largely the same, so the players will need to take huge steps forward. A return to excellence from Jayon would be welcome, as would Monty Rice taking the 2nd starting spot.

Speaking of Monty Rice, the 3rd rounder signed his rookie deal, meaning he can now join his teammates on the practice field.
