Titans News: Signing day

Yesterday was an eventful one for the 2021 draft class as five of the Titans’ draftees signed their rookie contracts. Caleb Farley and Dillon Radunz were two of the signees, a departure from years past when the top draft picks did not sign until weeks before training camp.

Ten UDFAs also came to terms with the Titans. There is a lot of opportunity for these guys to come in and compete for roster spots. It’s a bit mind-blowing to me that they didn’t sign a single UDFA WR, but at the same time you have to realize that 90% of the guys on their WR depth chart are UDFA quality.

Jersey numbers were also assigned to the draft class. No single digit numbers, which is a bit sad, but I think Farley got a solid number, as did Dillon Radunz.

A potential target for the Titans at WR has come available in the form of DaeSean Hamilton. The Broncos may cut the young WR if they cannot find a trade partner. Hamilton has some talent, as he was a 4th rounder in 2018, however the WR room in Denver is very crowded, as they’ve added a lot of very able pass catchers at the position over the last few years.
