Titans News: Swan song

In a bit of unexpected news, it was reported yesterday by Titans Online that the Titans’ PA announcer, Mike Donegan would serve as the 12th Titan for Sunday’s game. The unexpected bit is that it will be his last regular season game working for the Titans. The story of how Mike got his job as the PA announcer is worth a read, and I know I am going to miss his legendary third down calls at games. Good luck Mike in whatever you decide to do next. You’ll be missed at Nissan Stadium.

During Thursday’s practice, Kristian Fulton was a full participant, which is tremendous news. That means there is a chance if he is a full participant again on Friday that he’ll be able to play on Sunday afternoon. Adoree Jackson was limited again, and I’d really like to see him get some full practices logged within the next week.

Nick Shook from NFL.com ranks the best free agent signings from this past offseason. I am very surprised that the Titans don’t have any of their signings on that list.

In the NFL QB Index, Ryan Tannehill continues to climb, landing this week at the #4 spot. He’s been great all year, and hopefully he can help this team finish the regular season on a run.
