On Sunday afternoon, the Titans became the NFL’s #1 scoring offense. The weapons at the disposal of Art Smith, make it a very challenging team to prepare for, as they can beat you in any number of ways. If Michael Jordan was right, and the ceiling for this team is literally the roof of Nissan Stadium, then the potential is limitless. If the Titans offense plays like it did against the Lions and Jags, they can beat anyone. Big test upcoming against Green Bay.
It appears that Derrick Henry has a worthy sidekick. Darrynton Evans looked like an electric factory on Sunday afternoon, both as a runner and as a receiver. He will add another dimension to the offense that it had been lacking.
Sunday again proved that the offense is incredible and that the defense cannot generate any pressure on opposing QBs. Matt Stafford and Chase Daniel both had all day to throw and it is becoming more and more apparent each week that some outside help is needed.
Gone are the days of 9-7 as the Titans won their 10th game for the first time since 2008. As Mike Vrabel said, it gives them an opportunity to win their 11th game next week. Keep the foot on the gas.
