Titans News: The GOAT EDGE class

We hear player comparisons every single year. “Devonta Smith is Marvin Harrison” or “A.J. Brown is Terrell Owens”, due to height, weight, speed, and play style. I don’t subscribe to them for the most part because every player is different, which seems obvious, but it seems to be ignored in draft season. Take Gil Brandt’s recent player comp article, which has every EDGE defender compared to one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. If it comes to fruition, this is obviously the best EDGE group to ever come out of college, even though none of them are considered slam dunks by any means.

Peter Schrager of NFL Network has the Titans selecting one of those “vaunted” EDGE rushers with the 22nd pick. Jaelan Phillips, of Miami, by way of UCLA is the pick. Due to his injury concerns and love of DJing, I’m out.

After the flooding that damaged Nashville, the Titans jumped in to help clean up some of the aftermath.
