Last night, as you might have seen, the Buccaneers defeated the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 55. The Bucs won on the back of their terrific defense, namely the pass rush. If the Titans want a shot at winning Super Bowl 56, that’s where they need to focus their resources this offseason. Improve the offense, overhaul the defense.
There is momentum that early this week Carson Wentz could be traded. The Bears are the favorite for his “services” but the Colts may be a dark horse. I hope Indy ends up with him.
Derrick Henry won AP Offensive Player of the Year. Rushing for over 2,000 yards, the award was a no brainer.
Unsurprisingly, Henry was also named FedEx Ground Player of the Year. Hopefully he can add a Super Bowl trophy to his mantle after the 2021 season.
Brandon Galloway was named the NFL’s Fan of the Year. Mentoring the youth of Nashville is pretty special and it certainly sounds like Brandon deserved everything he’s received.
Jim Wyatt asked for Super Bowl XXXIV memories from Titan fans in this weekend’s mailbag.
Former Titan, Josh Evans, passed away this weekend at age 48. Cancer sucks, and it took Josh way too soon.
One of my favorite podcasts is Around the NFL. Chris Wesseling was a constant voice on that program, this weekend, the news broke that he passed away. He, like Josh Evans, lost his battle with cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with Josh and Chris’ families.
