Someone in the Jim Wyatt Mailbag Experience said that the Titans need to give Marcus Mariota a chance. Yes, the same Marcus Mariota that got soundly outplayed by the current Titans starter. The Marcus Mariota that had 76 passing touchdowns over 61 starts. Ryan Tannehill has the same amount of passing touchdowns in 18 less games. Stop talking about bringing Mariota back. Stop acting like he was a better QB in any way than Tannehill is and has been for the Titans. I like the guy, almost everyone does, because he’s a good human. Being a good person doesn’t make you automatically a good QB in this league. If it did, the Titans would still be set with Jake Locker at the helm.
Over on ESPN+ the Titans grab Christian Watson in the latest mock draft. That feels like a pretty big reach for the WR from NDSU.
Charles Davis selects Tyler Smith for Tennessee in his latest mock. Drafting a tackle paints Radunz in a pretty negative light, and if you’re drafting Smith as a guard, that’s a waste of a first rounder.
This draft class doesn’t have too many transcendent talents coming out of it, or at least that’s what it looks like at the moment. That being said, how does each position group stack up? NFL.com has the answers.
