Titans News: Threat level midnight?

The Chiefs are the kings of the AFC, but who poses a threat to overthrow the establishment? NFL.com says that the Titans are one of the teams in the conversation, but could be limited by their defense. I agree, as I think the offense will continue to be elite, but can the defense be average enough to make them a legitimate Super Bowl contender?

Current TE1, Anthony Firkser, held a football camp for kids. Logan Woodside, Josh Reynolds, and Elijah Molden were just a few of the players that were present at the event.

Making his post-high school football debut, Adam Coon is trying to make a good impression on Titan coaches at interior offensive line. Adam seems like a perfect fit for the practice squad if they feel he can make an impact early on.

What is the best team money can buy? NFL.com takes a shot at creating it. The only Titan that makes the list is A.J. Brown, and I don’t necessarily disagree with that given the cap parameters.

Bucky Brooks gives his top 5 pass catching duos across the NFL. I think he got the top 2 correct. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce rank at #1 and the two-tone combo of Jones and Brown slot in at second overall.

  1. The Chiefs took the league by storm a couple years ago by simply outscoring everyone. Their defense has improved, but its no where near a superbowl caliber defense on its own.

I think we have a legit chance at beating them at their own game if Downey can step up as OC. If the defense can hold teams to <25/game, we should have no problems going 13-4 this year and fighting for a #1 seed down the stretch
