Titans News: Unexpected departure

On Tuesday, it was announced that Ty Sambrailo was added to the reserve/retirement list as he has decided to retire from the NFL. Considering he started a game this year, that’s pretty shocking. It also opens up a path to playing time for Dillon Radunz, who hasn’t been able to see the field much this year.

Another Titan draft pick, Caleb Farley, had some playing time on Sunday and may have even more come Monday if the Titans are without Kristian Fulton. The 2021 first rounder was ok against the Jags, but the coaches have spoken highly of his work ethic.

Jim Wyatt answers some fan questions including one about Harold Landry’s impending free agency. Jim says it could be difficult to keep Harold after this year. To that I say, figure it out. If he plays the way he has been for the remainder of the year, you absolutely cannot let him get away. Otherwise, like a Jack Conklin situation, you’ll be opening up a hole on the roster. One that isn’t filled as easily as you might think.

After a big win against the Jags, the Titans jump up quite a few spots in both the ESPN and NFL.com Power Rankings.
