Sunday felt almost too familiar for Titans fans, as the Texans came into town and beat Tennessee 22-13. It was an ugly game from the offense, specifically Ryan Tannehill. With a better effort from him, the Titans don’t just win the game, but they win it easily. 400+ yards of offense for the Titans and only 13 points. The yardage is nice, but the point output was severely hampered by the 5 total turnovers.
Jim Wyatt sums it up perfectly by saying this was bad football from the Titans. The Texans are a bad enough football team that the Titans were never really out of it, but they kept making key mistake after key mistake.
Don’t get it twisted, the Titans are still going to make the playoffs. The race for the one seed just became a bit closer, but the Titans can recapture control by beating the Patriots next week.
If A.J. Brown is out for an extended period of time, this offense is going to become even more limited. Down to their 4th best WR and on, the lack of playmakers is glaring.
