Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk helps family avoid eviction with generous donation

This just put a huge smile on my face. I had to write about and shine some light on the generosity shown Saturday morning by Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk.

Everyone loves Ms. Strunk for the way she’s built this Titans team, but there’s plenty of non-football reasons to love her, as well. Today was emblematic of why.

Titans fan Jonathon Blasdell recently started a GoFundMe page in an attempt to raise funds to help his family avoid eviction. His family, like many American families, had fallen on hard times during the coronavirus pandemic.

Johnny created the page with a goal of reaching $5,000. The donations started to roll in when Ms. Strunk decided to take it upon herself to pay off the remaining amount.

Isn’t that the best? If there’s one thing we can say about this Titans community, it’s that they look after one another. It’s so wonderful to see that sentiment and mindset shared by the controlling owner. Isn’t that what sports is all about? It’s certainly what Nashville is all about.

You can donate to The Blasdell’s GoFundMe page here. Remember that any donation amount helps.
