Titans place Josh Smith on Reserve/COVID-19 list

Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Titans have placed Josh Smith on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. We don’t know if this means that Smith tested positive for the virus or if he simply came in contact with someone who has. We will probably have a pretty good idea of which it is based on how long he remains on the sidelines.

This news comes just three days after the team placed Jack Crawford on the Covid-19 list.

This is the kind of stuff that is going to be coming up while playing football during a pandemic. First off, we hope that Smith and everyone close to him is healthy and well. Secondly, if a player has to go on the list, better now than in-season.

Smith played his college football at Vanderbilt, and ended the 2019 season on the Titans practice squad.
