One of the league’s most productive offenses last season, the Titans may well be even more explosive in 2021.
That kind of statement still takes some getting used to for those who’ve watched the Titans over the better part of the past two decades.
But who can doubt the central cast that’s been assembled?
In Ryan Tannehill, the Titans have a quarterback who’s thrown for 55 touchdowns and just 13 interceptions over the past two seasons. In Derrick Henry, the team has a running back who’s churned out 3,567 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns over the past two seasons.
Then there are the top two wideouts – A.J. Brown and Julio Jones – who have a combined nine 1,000-yard seasons between them.
So what will the Titans’ individual offensive totals look like this year?
ESPN analyst Mike Clay recently offered his typically in-depth projections for every player and every team. So we used his estimates as a basis for over/under projections on Tannehill, Henry, Brown, Jones and tight end Anthony Firkser.
Here are my over/under forecasts for those five players . . .
