At 35, the Titans had a multitude of options to choose from. Multiple quarterback options were left on the board, lower tier receiver prospects were available, even a few offensive line options were there for the taking.
But in classic Jon Robinson style, he threw everyone a curveball, by selecting Auburn corner Roger McCreary.
McCreary was a 1st team all SEC selection last season, so his play in college was definitely noticed. For further insight, let’s give the mic to our site scout, James Foster.
Scout’s take
Our own James Foster (A.K.A. NoFlagsFilm) has worked extremely hard to scout this year’s eligible draft prospects. His opinion is very valuable and will be used to gauge feeling on Titans related draft selections this weekend.
Speed and acceleration are average. Highly productive and crafty at the catch point. One of the most battle-tested corners in the class.
