The draft is winding down for the Tennessee Titans, with two more picks currently in the team’s possession.
With one of those final two picks, the Titans selected Theo Jackson, a versatile defensive back out of the University of Tennessee.
Tennessee gave Jackson the STAR role at Tennessee, which by definition is a hybrid linebacker/defensive back position within a defense.
Although, the definition of the position can vary for each team, so take that for what it’s worth. Jackson’s also a decent tackler, an attribute the Titans have desired out of defensive back prospects throughout Jon Robinson’s tenure as general manager.
