Titans shuffle practice squad with flurry of moves

The Titans have announced some changes to their practice squad, via Jim Wyatt.

The team added WR Chester Rogers, DB Breon Borders and DB Greg Mabin to the practice squad. In order to make room for these three additions, they also cut DT Kobe Smith, DB Picasso Nelson and DB Maurice Smith.

Rogers is the most notable name here. He’s played in 53 career NFL games with the Indianapolis Colts, starting 22 of them. He’s caught 111 balls for 1,221 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also spent time with the Miami Dolphins earlier this season.

Rogers played his college football at Grambling State where he totaled more than 2,000 receiving yards. He was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent at the conclusion of the 2016 NFL draft.

Since signing with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Borders has spent time with the Bills, Texans, Jaguars, Redskins, Steelers and Dolphins. He played his college football at Duke.

Mabin has spent time in the NFL with the Bengals, 49ers, Buccaneers and Bills. He played his college football at Iowa.
